Zoe Jones

Zoe began her journey into the beauty industry at the age of 13 when she was employed as a Saturday girl in a salon. Within a couple of years, she enrolled onto a NVQ Level 1 Hairdressing course in 2001 whilst undertaking work experience at Tao Hair Designers.  Zoe continued to develop her personal skills set by studying Level 2 Beauty, Level 3 Beauty, Level 2 Hair and Level 3 Nails at Havering College, gaining all qualifications by 2007. Zoe has worked in various salons including Theresa’s nail & Beauty, Claridge’s Tanning & Beauty where she stayed for 6 years working full time, gaining invaluable experience before making the transition as a mobile therapist to renting a salon with her business associate.

Zoe joined the Debut Academy team in 2016 teaching all levels of nail qualifications.  Zoe continued her own personal learning journey by adding more strings to her bow, whilst moving up the ladder within the organisation becoming Head of Nails, Internal Quality Assessor, and working in the apprenticeship side of Debut Academy.

Zoe was promoted to Head of Apprenticeships where she supports both employer and applicant transitions into apprenticeships locally.  Zoe loves matching up the perfect candidate for the perfect employer, she has used her excellent communication skills to promote the advantages an apprenticeship brings to our local industry needs and how apprenticeships can grow businesses and bring fresh skills and talent to the marketplace.  Zoe makes sure that apprentice progression pathway opportunities are easily accessible and meets the vision and core values set out by Debut Training Academy.
