Summer Borne

Summer’s career in the health and beauty industry started in Miami and the sun-soaked Caribbean after qualifying as an internationally recognised CIBTAC/CIDESCO therapist. She worked on board the cruise ship Norwegian Getaway as their body specialist, specialising in their body electrical treatments. Another part of the role was to deliver weekly seminars to guests on board the ship, this is where her love of teaching began. 

During her time on the cruise, she worked closely alongside the personal trainers. Which inspired her to complete a Personal training level 2 and 3 qualifications when she returned. This led her to setting up her own business, BootyFit. Which combined mobile personal training programs with beauty treatments, allowing people to feel beautiful inside and out. 

When the pandemic hit, Summer looked into how she could progress her career in beauty and decided to complete her teaching qualifications. We were extremely excited when Summer joined our team at Debut Training Academy,  our students are in for a treat to learn from someone who has so much experience and knowledge to share!

Something you may not know about Summer:

Summer used to be a competitive high board diver from the age of 8. Her claim to fame is that one of her team mates actually dived with Tom Daley in the 2016 Rio Olympics… wooohooo how amazing!
