Nikki Henry

Nikki first started her journey with Debut Training Academy Ltd as a learner in 2016.  Nikki enrolled on a VTCT Level 3 Nail Technology course, she had some knowledge of nails, however, she wanted to refresh this and build up her client base from home.  Nikki was a little apprehensive about coming back to college as she was an older learner and had been out of education for a few years, however, Nikki said “Once I started my course all my worries were lifted, the staff were so accommodating, I learnt so much and just really enjoyed it, so much so I enrolled on my next courses; VTCT NVQ Level 3 Massage Therapy and VTCT NVQ Level 2 Beauty Therapy.”  Whilst Nikki was a learner with us at Debut Training Academy we saw so much potential in Nikki, she had so many great attributes and she was always putting herself out there, she organised her peers, mentored many learners, pushed past her comfort zone as well as being brilliant at all her treatments!  During her career talks and next steps, we encouraged Nikki to progress even further down the path of securing her VTCT Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement and VTCT Level 3 Certificate in Education and Training qualifications, as we knew she would make a great teacher!  Nikki was offered a part-time position at Debut Training Academy as a Tutor for the next 3-4 years, this position really prepared Nikki for her current role working alongside Kersti and being an integral part of recruiting learners, helping them decide what course would be suitable for their goals and career aspirations.  Nikki is extremely good at speaking to new and old learners as her passion, knowledge and experience shine through, who else would be able to give you such amazing first-hand experience of your learning journey from start to finish with Debut Training Academy?  Nikki finds it extremely rewarding to see the learners she has enrolled and been in constant contact with during their qualification, progress into the goal they wanted and fulfil their aspirations, dreams and ambitions.

Nikki works very hard and wears a few hats as our Sales and Recruitment Manager working alongside Danni enrolling and supporting our aesthetic learners on their career development journey!  Nikki said “If you cut me in half it would say “DEBUT” all the way down my body”.
